Dr. Sarada Thallam teaches in the Department of English at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.

Her areas of research include Gender Studies, African American Women’s theatre, Contemporary theories and Translation Studies. She has published extensively in journals of national and international repute. She has authored a book on African American Women Playwrights: A Study (New Delhi: Prestige, 2010). Another book on Indian Feminist Hermeneutical Theory is likely to be published soon. She was a Fulbright Senior Research Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during 2012-2013.
