ISSUE XXXVI
*****
JANUARY 2018
Dear readers, congratulations to you all! All the contributors; all the members; all the readers and anyone and everyone in the Ashvamegh family deserves to be congratulated today because we have come a long way and still the destination teases us – unseen, unheard, unnoticed! Ashvamegh has completed three years and this 36th issue marks the event! On the 12th of this month, January 2018, we have completed three successful years and we have been doing something great together. To mark this occasion, we have made several changes in our policies, publication dates and also added some new features to the magazine. I will take a little time of yours to introduce all those with you.
Publication Date – Now our issues will be published on the last day of each month. That means the issue for January will be published on 31st and the issue of April will be published on 30th and issue of February in a leap year will be published on 29th. This has been done so that we can accommodate the quality submissions which come to us on 18th, 19th or 23rd.
Selection Policies: Ashvamegh will now focus on giving the platform to the spirited and new authors and poets as well as continue to be a place for some quality pieces of literature by the experienced figures. We will not focus on numbers and rather aim at the quality of the submissions.
New Features:
Monthly News Digest: We have added a new feature called Monthly News Digest. Under this section, you will be supplied a selected list of important literary news for the month for which the issue is being published. With the January 2018 issue, you will find a list of important news articles which were published in the month of January 2018.
Featured Books: We are working on this update right now and it will be there in the next issue. You will be seeing a list of featured books on this page with a brief synopsis. You can directly buy the book from Amazon if you want to.
And at last, I would like to congratulate all those who have been published in this issue and also thank all those who have been wishing good for us!
With love always,
A
