Lie and Truth

The truth I seek;
the lie I escape;
both are same –
identical, with
different identities.

Where shall I go?
Or shall I be coming back,
once again?

The World & Us

The motion of my thoughts cease
when I think of this world,
rapidly on a transformation wheel.

The word, it seems,
when I recollect vigorously,
has moved far ahead
living us behind to be lurking. Sad.

About the Poet:

Amit Mishra is a student of Economics (MA with Econometrics specialisation), Magadh University, Bodhgaya, Bihar. His interest in literature and poetry has been there for long now. These are his fresh attempts at poetry. He writes to express his thoughts which often come in fragments like that of T. S. Eliot and the modern masters like Pinter and Beckett.
