Dr. Shrikant Singh, born in village Bindidih near Nalanda in 1966 is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English Literature, in the Nava Nalanda Mahavihar (Deemed University under Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India), Nalanda, Bihar. He has been teaching English Literature to U.G. and P.G. students and guiding Ph.D. scholars from India and abroad over fifteen years. He has published more than thirty research papers in books and journals of National and International repute besides editing more than half a dozen of books. Currently, he is working on a number of books. He has also presented more than thirty-five papers in National and International seminars and conferences besides acting in some of them as convenors. He has also chaired sessions and delivered invited lectures in different seminars.

He is a course writer with I G N O U, New Delhi. His area of Interest includes public education through organizing seminars, workshops, debates and speeches on social, spiritual and interpersonal issues.
