Ashvamegh is a monthly magazine publishing English poetry, short stories, research articles and scholarly essays. We also publish book reviews submitted by contributors. You can submit to our journal online. We only entertain submissions we receive electronically through our website. You can see the guidelines for different kinds of submissions below along with the submission form for every genre. Poetry Submission Guideline:
Ashvamegh welcomes every kind of poetry submission from national and international poets. We welcome debut poets with the same warmth as we welcome established poets. However, there are certain things that we thoroughly discourage the poets to include in their poems:
* something that invokes terrorism
* something that deliberately insults the sentiments of a religious community
* something that calls for violence in any of its kind
* abusive words
The format that we encourage:
* Font Size: 12
* Font: Times New Roman
If you think your poetry submission meets the criteria we have highlighted above, please submit your poems to us now. Please note that you can submit a maximum of four poems at a time. We publish a maximum of two poems from a poet (in some cases, it can be three & even all four of them). Response time for the poetry submissions is around 3-4 weeks. In case you don’t hear from us even after two months, kindly take at as a polite rejection and submit different works again.

Short Story Submission Guideline:
We at Ashvamegh take a keen interest in the prose form of fiction. We love reading short stories! We invite writers to send their short stories to us. There is no limit to the themes! You can write about anything. However, you should avoid the things we highlighted below:
* length beyond 2000 words or 5 pages
* something that invokes terrorism
* something that deliberately insults the sentiments of a religious community
* something that calls for violence in any of its form
* unnecessary use of abusive words
* erotica (yes, we don’t publish erotic stories!)
Formatting that we accept:
* Font size: 12
* Font: Times New Roman
* Alignment: Justified
* Free from unnecessary double spaces
* Free from silly grammatical mistakes
If your submission meets the criteria we mentioned in the above section, you can send your short story to us. Please send one short story at a time. Usually, we respond within 3-4 weeks of the submission. You can submit only one short story at a time. If you don’t hear from us even after two months, kindly take it as a polite rejection and submit a different story again.

Research Articles Submission Guideline:
We receive research papers from scholars and academicians very welcomingly. However, we do follow a strict guideline to ensure the quality of a received paper. Here are the things you need to consider while submitting to us:
* There must be originality in the work.
* The paper must be logical, conclusive and systematically arranged in the terms of sequences.
* There must be a list of references/cited works/selected readings at the bottom of the paper.
* If there are inline citations, they must be in a proper method. There must not be a mix-up of two different citation methods.
* The paper must be free of small grammatical errors and silly spelling mistakes.
* Formatting: Font size 12, Font Times New Roman, Alignment Justified.
The publication of the research paper is absolutely free with Ashvamegh! You just need to send your paper and we will get back to you within 2-3 weeks in general.

General & Scholarly Essay Submission Guidelines:
We encourage scholars and writers to submit their essays to Ashvamegh Journal. Essays can cover any possible topic. We warmly welcome essay submissions from authors, academicians, independent scholars and anyone who wants to submit. There are, however, some rules that authors need to follow while submitting their works to Ashvamegh:
* The submitted work must be previously unpublished.
* The essay must be conclusive and logical.
* Essays, generally, do not include a list of references. However, if you want, you can include it.
* Essays must not include personal hatred, communal hatred, racial hatred in any of its possible form.
* The paper must be free of small grammatical errors and silly spelling mistakes.
* Formatting: Font size 12, Font Times New Roman, Alignment Justified.
Generally, the turnaround time for general and scholarly essays are 3-4 weeks. After the evaluation, our team will get back to you with the editorial decision. If you think your essay meets the criteria, please submit your essay to Ashvamegh now.

Book Reviews Submission Guideline:
Ashvamegh has a dedicated panel for book reviews. Moreover, we also welcome book reviews from the contributors. Now you can submit a review of any book you read. We welcome reviews of classics; modern fiction; non-fiction; and books in other languages also (as far as the review is in English). However, there are some policies that the contributors need to follow while submitting the book reviews.
* The submitted book review must be previously unpublished.
* The review must be professional. It should not contain extremely promotional stuff. (We all know what it means!)
* The review must be free of small grammatical errors and silly spelling mistakes.
* Formatting: Font size 12, Font Times New Roman, Alignment Justified.
* It must contain the name of Book, Author, Publisher, Number of Pages, and the name of Reviewer on the above.
We are quick to respond to the submissions of book reviews. You will, in most of the cases, get a reply within 2-3 weeks. If you think your book review article meets our policies, please submit your review to Ashvamegh now!
